Nick Santos
Executive Director
Nick Santos is the founder and Executive Director of The Environmental Consumer, where he leads organizational planning, board development, outreach, staff management, and web programming. Nick is also a Junior Specialist at the Center for Watershed Sciences at the University of California, Davis where he develops GIS-based software and databases to help analyze and understand environmental impacts and indicators. In the past he has worked with the UC Sustaintable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SAREP), climate campaign 1Sky (now merged with 350.org), and the Sierra Nevada Alliance.
Joaquin Fraga
Researcher
Joaquin Fraga graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis. He is interested in the sustainable viticulture, energy efficiency and project management. After working at Domaine Chandon, he spent time coaching soccer, traveling and working at Artesa winery in Napa. Joaquin is currently working on a long-term and design projects with The Environmental Consumer.
ThienVinh Nguyen

ThienVinh Nguyen (pronounced TIN-vin-Winn) is currently a Master's student in the Anthropology and Education program at Columbia University. She holds two Bachelor's degrees from UCLA—one in Geography, the other in Sociology—as well as a minor in Education Studies. ThienVinh's interests include environmental education campaigns and sustainability efforts concerning food systems. She likes riding her bike (with a basket in the front) to farmers' markets.
Kate Lin
Development Intern
Kate Lin is currently an undergraduate student at the University of California, Davis, and is double-majoring in Environmental Science and Management & Community and Regional Development. Her interests include sustainable development, social justice, and better food systems. In her free time, she enjoys partaking in food, music, writing, reading, philosophy/musing, art, and enjoying nature.
